NFTs
For gamers, the Turbo Battle Arena branded NFTs are your entry pass as a true TBA warrior. Our initial NFT collections will come with fun, fully built characters with two weapons, varying profiles, and an armor set. 100 eggs come loaded with every NFT, enough for 10 win-to-earn games. Players hunt for ammo boxes during gameplay to load and reload their weapons for battle. If the character look or weapon setup is not to your liking, mint another NFT like unwrapping a pack of Pokรฉmon or baseball cards to see what luck has in store for you.
Unique to our NFTs is the possibility of permanent death. While each NFT comes with 100 eggs, if a player's egg balance ever reaches 0, their NFT dies and is no longer useable in game. The corresponding image or animation will be updated via metadata to reflect an expired warrior who bravely died in battle and their game avatar will return to the generic free-to-play style. Mint a new NFT to keep playing, or recharge with an egg pack before the account balance hits 0. What will the plucky warrior do with their last 10 eggs? Will they risk it all for a chance to stand on top of the podium?
With fairness in mind, a careful balance of attributes will ensure that no NFTs can change the parameters of a game significantly enough to create a pay-to-win environment. NFTs will focus largely on character, weapon, and armor aesthetics with varied animation styles and effects on gameplay. As new game modes release and our matchmaking system goes live, the game-augmenting properties of our NFTs will continue to expand.
The minting of TBA NFTs will also follow the familiar seasonality of existing multiplayer RPG environments with evolving traits and new properties not seen in previous seasons. Items minted early on in the history of Turbo Battle Arena will retain intrinsic value greater than that of newer items. We will make every effort to keep the NFT cost reasonable to encourage collecting multiple characters and to prevent the high entry costs seen in many NFT-gated games.
