The success and positive feedback from the initial gameplay of Turbo Battle Arena largely came from the marriage of familiar retro style and modern online gameplay mechanics. The psychological familiarity connected players to an understandable and easily engaging environment. Since this initial success, we have constructed an entirely new game engine built from the ground up. This engine ensures maximum ease of gameplay and seamless in-game functionality.
At mainnet launch, players will choose between solo speed runs and free-to-play or win-to-earn versions of our Battle Royale and Team Deathmatch modes. We anticipate these modes to be our bread-and-butter going forward, but a litany of new play styles will roll out over time as our game continues to evolve. Phase One of TBA will be a tournament-style setup where users create their own rooms to host mini-tournaments for one or more rounds. The default win-to-earn room will allow 10 players at a cost of 10 Eggs each per round. The room host will choose between Battle Royale or Team Deathmatch modes and players will vote on which map to play with multiple options to choose from between our classic retro worlds and new meme arena.
Players can also create custom rooms for larger game sizes and prizes. Custom entry fees and bonus prizes will facilitate unique and dynamic tournaments. Think of the high roller tables in Las Vegas. We envision outside projects, guilds, communities, etc. will use this custom room system to launch private tournaments and giveaways to boost their community engagement.
In Phase Two we launch our matchmaking system that will automatically connect 6-10 players in a room with a simple click of a button. Matchmaking opens up a new realm of possibilities to pool players together based on skill for more even games with a greater chance of winning for less experienced gamers. It also permits a leveling up system for higher skilled players and more powerful weapons and armor.
An average game session lasts approximately five minutes. Quick game sessions require less commitment and encourage repeat sessions. The lightweight and straightforward nature of Turbo Battle Arena means that users do not need any technical knowledge to play their first game. But the skill ceiling remains high for experienced gamers and dedicated TBA players to hone their craft and stand out (and earn) above the rest.
